What the photographs show

The gallery records a completed house extension in Greenwich, south-east London. The rear elevation is finished in light-coloured brickwork, with wide timber-framed glazed folding doors shown fully open onto the patio. Three rectangular rooflights sit over the dining side of the ceiling, and the open-plan kitchen and dining area reads straight through to the garden.

Inside, dark large-format floor tiles run through the kitchen and dining space. The kitchen is laid out along its length with white cabinetry to both sides, a timber worktop, open wall shelving, and a white island with an integrated sink and three dark pendant lights above it. A further photograph shows a bright living and circulation space with white walls and timber flooring, a fireplace with a white surround, dark hearth and patterned tiled slips, a wide opening through to the hallway, an arched wall opening and a simple ceiling cornice.
